A LITTLE MOTIVATION FOR YOU ALL

Being positive in life may be one of the most challenging, yet rewarding things a person could do. I want you to think about something for a minute; today will never come again. Sure, there are plenty more days to come, but why waste one? Why fill it with hours of negativity and pessimistic thoughts when you couldn't be making memories and sharing happy thoughts? Be a friend to someone you love. Encourage someone who is down. Be a blessing to someone in need.

Almost everyday is filled with our 'wants'. A new bag, new clothes, more money, a new job, a better house, a new phone. The list of these materialistic things is endless. But here's what I want: I want someone in need of a family to find one. I want someone in need of help to speak up. I want violence to end. I want destruction to end. I want people to start looking after the planet. I want people to start caring for one another, stranger or not.

The things we're waiting for seem to arrive at the more unexpected of times. However, that doesn't mean we don't need to strive for what we want. It doesn't mean we have to work hard. If you stumble, get back up. If you crash and hit the rocks, recover and give it another go. An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backwards. It might take a few attempts to get it right, but in the end you will get there and all the memories you have made in those attempts will be what made it worth it.

  1. This is beautifully written. I used to say to myself once I had brought that new bag and those new shoes- the next day I will be happy but the list never ends, There is always things we want in life, which is fine as long as they don't control us and make us unhappy x
