Hello, everyone! I hope you've all had a wonderful start to your week.

This post is one in which I am honored to be writing. I have been nominated for The Liebster Award. For those of you who don't know (or for you newbies!), The Liebster Award is a blog award given to bloggers by other bloggers.

If you are nominated for this award, you can put it on your blog as a sign that you have received a nomination from it. Moreover, you must look at the post of the person who nominated you, copy the questions they have wrote, and answer them in your own blog post. Once you've done that, you must nominate your own favourite blogs (with a small following) and write 11 questions of your own that you wish for them to answer. The idea behind this award is that it promotes both your blog, and other blogs too, who have a small following.

I would like to say thank you to Maxime (www.beautywithmaxime.blogspot.co.uk) for nominating me. It's so lovely to know you have read my blog and feel as though it's worth others reading. I am so delighted!

Here are her questions:b

1. Which language would you like to be able to speak?

Sign Language (if that counts?). I've been watching the TV show 'Switched at Birth' of late and I'm mesmerized by the ability to communicate with hands only.

2. What is one beauty product you can’t leave your house without?

Lip barm. I find that I suffer from chapped lips in winter so this is great. Of late, I've been wearing it more than lipstick because it just feels so much nicer.

3. Do you have a pet?

No. I used to have a dog named Annie who my parents had adopted from the RSPCA.

4. What is your favourite taste of chips?

I'm not sure...with salt and vinegar by the seaside?

5. What are the things you don’t like to eat?

Cold pineapple, meat of late and 

6. What are the things that annoy you?

The concept idea that Feminism is the hate of all men, the negative connotations that have been created around acting "like a girl"/"like a boy" and people taking other's kindness for granted.

7. Why did you start your blog?

I started it to create a portfolio of my artwork and writing for when I start college. However, now I have a few people reading it, I have become more open to the idea of beauty related posts and to make my mark on the online world.

8. What are some dreams you have for the future?

My main goal is definitely to be happy, whatever I do. I don't want to be stuck in a career that I hate, nor do I want to be somewhere I dislike. I aim to work hard at what I love and surround myself with those who care about me.

9. Do you have a big family? Are you close with them?

My mother's side is English and my father's side is Scottish. I have one younger brother but no longer have any grandparents. I don't see most of my family that often due to the travelling distance so it tends just to be my mum, dad, brother and me.

10. What are the things that make you happy?

Things that make me happy include 5SOS; every interview I watch makes me laugh. I also find that blogging and taking photos for instagram is quite comforting. Writing, art and spending time with my family is also my sort of escape to a happier place.

11. What is a weird fact about you?

I'm scared of custard. I have a genuine fear of it.
