As a child I loved perfume. I was always pestering my mum to buy me the latest Disney Princess pamper sets and perfumes. I just adored the different smells each one had and I always thought that smelling nice was one of the most important things. I still do, and that is why I have decided to review my 3 current favourite perfumes for you.

I just want to say that, if you are not quite sure which perfume you want to buy in a store, you should definitely try the testers! If there aren't any, I'd advice asking the staff on the kind of smell it is and if they like it. You can look at reviews too, but at the end of the day, each person is different and might enjoy a smell someone else doesn't. So please enjoy this review and if you have any questions about the perfumes, please ask away!

I've never really been one to wear or buy 'celebrity' perfumes (but there's 2 in this review!). This is usually because you'll find that they have just 'lent' their name to the perfume and will receive money for the sales, but have no actual say in the making of the perfume. Therefore, it's just another overpriced perfume! However, my brother bought me this for Christmas and at first I really wasn't sure how to react; but then I smelt it. It made me feel girly and a little more fun. The smell was one which took me back a year or two, and made me feel like I could let go of all my stress with exams as it reminded me of the things my friends and I used to wear to parties or just for fun. If you don't know much about One Direction, this is their third fragrance, named after their song 'You and I'.

For the purpose of any confusion, I would like to state that the actual liquid is a purple/pink colour, as shown (so the bottle is clear!). the design of the bottle itself reminds me of a Sleeping Beauty perfume I had when I was younger. In all honesty, I feel the design is a little young but I feel the reason for this is to cater for the majority of One Direction fans, ranging from 7 years old (or younger!) to 20 plus. In picture 3, shown above, you can see the charm that you can remove when you take off the top. In the original packaging it stated that One Direction had made this for their fans. I think this is a sweet idea and it can be worn as a ring or on a necklace.

The top notes (mango and grapefruit) can definitely be smelt first and most strongly. Overall it's a light and refreshing burst of fruit which is both quite elegant at the same time. Other notes include orchid, peony, musk and sand wood as well as a few others. This is my go-to fragrance for school as the supply seems to be never ending, its something that lasts through the day and is not to overwhelming.

I was a late convert to Miss Dior Cherie (2005), the Coco Mademoiselle sibling-scent. After being relaunched with a different, and more adult-like scent, my mum managed to find the original in a store with discontinued stock.

This is a perfume for special occasions. I think the overall idea of this scent was to have a fun yet classy kind of smell. It has a certain flowery scent which I adore but it also has the scent of a green patchouli note with strawberries and caramel popcorn. It sounds all like too much, but when put together, it creates a scent that will make you feel both fun yet mature - all at once! However, I find it to sometimes be slightly powdery but not overwhelming like other rival perfumes such as No.5.

The liquid is a rose pink colour and the packaging is most definitely of a good quality. It's not too overwhelming in the clear bottle and I love the little touch with the bow that is part of the top. The overall look is very classy and makes me feel expensive and a little posh. French apartment with a dreamy boyfriend, like in all adverts, anyone?!

I have had this perfume since October now and there is the the remainder of half of the bottle!
Although this has been discontinued, it has been renamed as Miss Dior as, from what I understand, the two don't smell that different. It is expensive, ranging from around £60 to £80 in stores and online, however I would say that it is worth every penny; so long as you're not just spritzing it on to go to school in! This is a very beautiful and sophisticated scent and if any of you are getting the stage where you feel you want to become more ladylike or feel much more classy and mature, this is definitely a scent for you.

This has to be my favourite packaging for anything. The box has a lovely bohemian/genie-in-a-bottle feel to it and the bottle itself is beautiful. I adore the colour scheme for this, the gold, orange, purple and pinks create a balanced contrast and harmony. The glass of the bottle is finished off with a sort of shimming rainbow look (as seen in picture 1) which reflects in the light, making it feel quite magical. I think the charms themselves, that are dangling from the bottle, add a special and personal touch to the fragrance and makes it appear really ornate.

Wonderstruck is the first perfume in the Taylor Swift range and it's very much a fruity and floral perfume with notes such as raspberry, green tea, apple blossom, peach, amber and more. I feel these combine to create a beautiful smell for any girl or young woman. The appearance of the perfume, I feel, is well matched to the notes and it can definitely be related to Taylor Swift and how she comes across as a person. It lasts a while, but not all day and will probably need respraying after 3 to 4 hours.

This is my number one favourite perfume and I think I will definitely be trying Wonderstruck: Enchanted when I have finished this.

I hope you found this post helpful and if you have any questions about the perfumes, or want to recommend your favourites, please do - I love hearing from all my readers. Happy Sunday and I hope the rest of your week is filled with positive things!
