• A FRESH START •

I've not posted on here for nearly a month now. For someone who is supposedly addicted to blogging, that's a pretty big deal. But here's the thing; I lost interest. I've had time to sit down and write, and rant, about everything and anything. But I just haven't.


I've felt the pressures to turn my blog into something it's not. Of late, the world of blogging has become a frenzy of unoriginal fashion and beauty reviews with paragraphs of aimless, on-the-fence writing. I don't think there are enough hands in the world to let me count how many times I have read the same boring reviews on the same boring product. It's like no one even dares to put their opinion out there anymore - and that honestly makes me feel quite miserable.

So here's to a fresh start for this blog. I want to post whenever I feel like posting. If there's something I want to say, I'll say it. I'm going to start writing for myself, rather than an audience. Please still take pleasure in reading what I have to say, and by all means comment your opinions, but I'm going to write about my life, my thoughts and my opinions. I'm not going to sit in my room, hopelessly trying to concoct a post about the latest beauty or fashion trend that I don't really care about; because I want to concentrate on making a difference through writing, not through following the ribbon of internet trends.
